Does Monoline require the primary home to be listed?
We are no longer accepting rental properties without the primary home attached at this time. With the market shifting so quickly and landlord- specific carriers popping up more often, we are seeing that rentals are less often being placed on the homeowners policy. While we are still willing to write up to 40 rentals, they now need to be tied to a primary home on the Monoline policy to continue. This requirement helps us avoid unknowns that pop up after the fact and ensures we're reviewing the entire risk holistically. Our umbrella is built to sit on top of homeowners coverage, never intended to be a premise-only umbrella carrier for rental properties
