No. Farms and farming operations are strictly ineligible for coverage.
The policy explicitly excludes any loss arising out of the ownership or operation of a farm. Consequently, we cannot accept any location where the primary insurance is a Farm Comprehensive Personal Liability (FCPL) or a farm liability policy.
Exception for Applicants with Separate Farm Properties An applicant may still be eligible if they own a standard primary residence in addition to a separate farm property, provided the following conditions are met:
Primary Residence Eligibility: The primary residence must not have any farming operations and must not be insured by a farm liability policy.
Exclusion Required: You must simply exclude the separate farm property from the Monoline application.
No Coverage: The farm property will not be covered under the umbrella policy, as farming activities fall under the definition of "Business" and business operations are excluded from coverage.
