What are Monoline's MVR and international driver requirements?

MVR & Driver License Frequently Asked Questions

Updated over a week ago

Q: Do you run MVRs?

A:Yes, MVRs are run for drivers with a primary residence in California, Florida, Maine, Texas and Minnesota.

MVRs are based on the insured's primary residence state, not the covered driver's license state.

Q: Does Monoline write drivers with international licenses?

A: No. Monoline requires a U.S.-issued driver's license number for all listed drivers. Since our quoting and MVR verification processes depend on U.S. license data, we are unable to accommodate international licenses at this time.

Q: What is the MVR Disclosure & Authorization?

A: This is the disclosure you acknowledge when adding a covered driver, authorizing Monoline to obtain the driver's MVR for underwriting purposes.
