What do you consider a Major Violation?

Major violations include reckless driving, DUI, hit and run, excessive speeding, and other serious offenses with significant legal consequences:

  • Driving while suspended or revoked
  • Reckless driving
  • Driving wrong side/divided highway
  • Evading officer/reckless driving
  • Reckless driving/causing bodily injury
  • Explosives transportation
  • Speed contest /exhibition of speed (including aiding or abetting)
  • Hit and run (with or without injury)
  • Speed over 100mph
  • Manslaughter (with or without gross negligence)
  • Alcohol/Drug related violations including but not limited to:
  • DUI (including both dangerous drugs not narcotics, alcoholic beverage and/or drugs)
  • DUI/BAC 0.04% or more/commercial vehicle
  • Minor driving w/ BAC of 0.05% or more
